Devil,i'll be honest with you as much as i can and don't be mad on me.
As much as i know, there are two maps(for standard Blitz) that covers Crete-one is about capturing Maleme airfield(nice one, small errors) and second is CorpBobs map(baddddd).Your is third. You used random map generator(i think) and changed season in XML file from summer to Afrika. But you have MANY errors.
-you placed more than 10 howtizers on this small map.Any try of German atttack will be crushed with British artillery and also British forces on Crete consisted 17 000 British soldiers,7 700 New Zealanders and 6 500 Australians from ANZAC force. The rest,10 300 were Greeks. Many of their equipment was destroyed while evacuating from Greece.
-but you mustered many several armored batallions for Allies.Where they came from?
-German forces consisted airborne division and three infantry regiments from 5th and 6th Mountain Divisions that should be transported by Kriegsmarine and protected by Italian navy. They have landed via air in big groups (600 paratroopers from 3rd battalion of the 7th Parachute division landed near the arifield)but you gave only 3 Ju52s that lands 3 squads???
-but in reinforcements you send panzers and howtizers.Where they came from???Germans haven't landed many tanks, they transported mortars and light guns via gliders.
-also,when i saw Italians in reinforcements i wondered:why you placed them, they haven't took part in invasion?
-You will finish mission in no doubt 'cause you gave one SM79 Sparviero bomber but enemy has no capabilities to fight back(no heavy AA guns,no fighters...).So,you can finish the mission with bomber, you'll just need time.
-Bishops???
-Oerlikon Crusader???
Sorry man,but you must work it out MUCH better.Must read history much more and create realistic battlefield.I am making mistakes quite often.I suggest you to re-work the map.Show us some German airborne landing around Heraklion and maleme,house-to-house fighting with realisticly worked out positions, not Tank battles.
I was opened as much as i can.I hope you don't mad. :(

Aleksej fon Grozni.......Hi. and yes, the battle of Crete was a man to man fight. The German was fighting with hand wepons and some times with a pistol. And nades if they was too close to the enemy. I know the british only had a few Howtizers. And yes, i just made the bzm file into xlm file. And back again. The German army had on (day5) a little force of light armour cars.......But this map was made in a hurry. You right, its not right after the real battle on Crete. I only made this to see how the look was, with the xlm file.( A test map for a bigger one iam working on) So i made it a little hard(with panzer and so on)(A fun map)... And Aleksej fon Grozni iam not mad, but glad too hear it. You gave me and idea  I will make a map(not now,But soon) And then you will see how the (real battle of Crete was)........You have put the devil on the lose  This map will be Hard, Hard, Hard(the next one) ........I Hope thats okay????? :)

What i would like to see hehe... is a 32*32 map with crete formed as it really looks with the right reinforcements etc :)

Crete is an interesting battle... This map wasnt if i have to be honest:)

Just like Aleksej said... ANY attack by the germans is getting fought by artillery. Everytime you land your airborne troops a rain of artillery poors down on em.

2/10 im sorry but not a very interesting map.

I am glad you accepted my comments without hard feelings.Ill give you some tips:
-use Bren carrier from BK Portal(free to download)
-use Ju52 as stationary unit so it looks like you had landing :)
-for GB,use machine guns but not to much AT guns
-they had only 56 AA guns to defend island of 156 miles length!!!that's tough one.
-for GB armor use Humber and Matilda(many Humbes, low number of Matilda)
-for arty, use QF pounders and mortars...Germans also had some mortars though they were light ones(one heavy mortar company fell in reservoir and drowned)
I wish you finish it soon cause that part of WWII history is badly worked out in Blitzkrieg and i think that many of us would like to see it. :D

If it would be of any help to you, I could send you my Vickers Mk VIB Light Tank. They used those alot on Crete. Also I reccomend the Bren Carrier like above, and I have a Fallscirmjager 1941 Squad that I could send too. Make it a sort of modmap.

Nice to see someone liked my Ju52s too :)

Of course. He thinks Blitzkrieg Portal was 90% successful.
But what do you think?
Well, as you know, I always felt we tried to go a mod too far.

Oh, yes, please! I've been working on early Western Desert. I'd love a Vickers Mark VI. I've been using the Vickers 26T instead, and it's not really the same thing, now, is it? Any chance you have a Cruiser A-10 or A-13 up your sleeve?

Okay, one Mk VIB coming up, no A.10 or A.13s sadly, i'd like them myself. I have made 2 versions of the Crusader though (Mk II and Mk III)
