Sorry everybody. I changed my mind. Italy would require a lot of new summer textures which i have no power and time to make. So i am aiming on Crete now. Always wanted to make it, just had no time. And with some units i recently made this could be nice additional chapter for DAK. So, sorry |

As i intend to treat of those matters on the Commonwealth Armies side, maybe i could be of some help ? While quite sure you already know them, here's as "anti-pasti", three maps about evolution in Sicily (i could post 10 of the same type about Italy operations): Attachment: Sicily Landings.jpg [ 112.92 KB | Viewed 509 times ] Attachment: Sicily Jul 43.jpg [ 217.74 KB | Viewed 506 times ] Attachment: Sicily Jul-Aug 43.jpg [ 218.32 KB | Viewed 503 times ] I guess you also already know about the Orders Of Battle (if not : Wilipedia is decent about allied armies, then i guess is so for the axis')... I haven't yet much material about Axis defence lines, more about Gothic Line (Northern Italy), but day after day, i pick up things here and there; so, don't hesitate to ask about a particular question, if able i will answer/help with pleasure Good luck and courage |

Unfortunately can't work on Italy. i have some italian units made by Dunkel but i would need a lot more and honestly i hate to make them. But invasion of Crete on the other hand would be quite different. Lee sorry. Sorry about this Italy thing, i guess i look a little bit

About the defences at crete: mainly bofors aa guns and light tanks that were mainly obsolete 2-4 mathildas and some italian anti tank guns wich had no aiming devices. this is not much i know but something anyways. Anthony beevors book about this subject is very detailed |
