It's an awesome map!

I downloaded the RAR file and will try to incorporate it into the campaign. But still don't know which mission it may be...

I've gone through it and found a non-fully used space in the north which gives me an excellent oportunity to place a village there. Then I will be able to implement the map into the campaign as the battle of Prokhorovka. :)

Thanks again for it.

Gordon would you be possibly interested in making like a Manchuria 1945 map as it would be a very interesting battle where you can even use the T-44's and IS-3's :)

I've been thinking about Manchuria 1939 rather than in 1945. Simply because the Japs didn't represent a serious oponent to the Red Army in those days, so it would be way too easy as the last chapter.

Still, I don't have any Japan units that I could use so I finally had to cast aside even the idea of Manchuria 1939...

After I don't know how many months I've finally finished Achtung Panzer.

Have to say I'm somewhat bereft of something to do now.

I just wanted to congratulate GordonCZ on an awsome campaign that puts the original game firmly in the shade, truly stunning. I still cannot believe that in the very first post of this thread he calls it "nothing special". You've got to be kidding.

I have yet to see anything that comes close to this in terms of detail and playability. Well done, and thank you so much for so much fun.

You may installed the campaign to the wrong directory or anything else could happen.

Could you please describe more precisely what's wrong? (Where you have the campaign files installed, under which game are you running it - BK, BH, RT? etc.) Only after that, I can try to help you...

Wow...a great amount of work. But I have a question. All that work...a lot of time... . Why ? Do you take it as a hobby ? Or do you want in the future to work in the computer games industry and now you train yourself ?

How old are you ? :)

Because for a lot of us, just playing the game is not enough. We look at missions we played and say, "It's not good enough," or "It's not right. I could do better than that." Then, of course, we often find that we can't, really, but we keep trying to improve.

It's also considerably more varied than just playing game after game. You have to create a realistic and yet usable landscape (map.) You have to come up with - or research - a mini-story. You have to find balanced forces so that it's not one-sided. Then it helps to be a programmer, so that what you want to happen in the mission actually happens.

Over and above all that, it's just the thrill of being creative. Why do you think artists paint pictures, or composers compose, or writers write novels?

Yeah, the defence of Moscow (the winter missions) in the campaign are one of the best. My other favs were the Italy ones, and the first one in the Ardennes offensive. :) =D>

Hoping to see more of these in MC. :)

I'm playing AP for the 3rd time, this time however i have made some changes for personal use eg added the Panzer 1 and the Sdkfz 232 as available core units to the first chapter, so far its working great!!

Great campaign!

Having just started this campaign Gorden CZ, I would have thought that an Ammo dump would have been at the start.

For me it is fine as I am used to this kind of thing, but with any new comers being that the first mission is a training exercise(session) this might have been included. :)

Good job though, nice bit of action. =D>

I am just wondering where I am going wrong at the start of the training first mission.

I did have the Olmsted mod in only in the Blitz1 game, and have removed, is there something else that I need .

I have taken the front trenchs in the small town and broken through to the cross roads, so all four missions have been acomplished.

With no ammo for my artillery and only two armoured cars plus the Inf I am told to storm the town,(this being a training exercise with real bullets).

I do get an 88mm/Pak AT gun, but run out of resources when replenishing the guns and Infantry, with no Ammo dump to continue, I have to concede a loss.

With more tanks appearing before I have enuff replacements I am doomed to failer, without being able to get past the first hurdle I feel like removeing the game.

As I do not like useing any cheats, what am I missing.

Where can i find the Patch again for putting ammo dumps in, I seem to have lost it somehow. #-o

I beleave I am following all instructions to the letter, but could be wrong #-o [-o< .

'Still no answer to my question'. #-o

I have the patch in and without an Ammo dump at the start then this is pointless.

Is there nobody who can put me right in what I am doing wrong.

Have followed all the advice from the thread on AP.

I could capture the main ammo dump in the North,'is that it'. :)

After four posts and no answers, Its time for a 'cup of tea'.

'Night folks'. :)

I just use cheat codes to get through the first mission.
