Thanks guys! :D

I have never thought that it would have such a positive response... I just wanted to make something to play instead of BKII. Maybe, I will make some more, but my harddisk is kaput right now, so I've lost all the data on it.

Thanks again, this encourages me a lot. I wanted to make a mod for Blitzkrieg, so I may start it, when I get a new harddisk.

One idea I have Gordon, would be a chapter on the Army Group A advance toward the oil fields of Baku. Lots of mountains and little armor-mostly infantry(mountrain troops) and artillery. One mission would be raising the flag on Mt. Ebrus and holding it. Another with some armor would be taking the oil fields at Maikop.

Páni, to by bylo supr!!!

Asi 14 dní bude trvat reklamace harddisku, ale pak bych se klidně zapojil.

PS: Předpokládím, že máš nějakej kontakt na Kunu, že? 8-[

Also sorry for the Czech language...

In "Operation Blau", I've created, there is a mission, where you have to cross the Terek river, capture the Mozdok city and hold it then.

And what about Majkop, there is a "special" mission near this city. Hope you will enjoy it.

I like this chapter alot, I'm still on the Rostov mission taking HEAVY losses forcing me to restart the mission over and over again. But I'm getting closer to victory every time ;)

Btw, He111 Bomber for Paratroopers? :o

Edit: I now know that the Rostov mission is impossible, in the start, hell rains down on my troops. Loosing most of my artillery and infantry to artillery fire. When I've gathered up for an assault I usually loose 10 tanks to a KV2.

My only chance is too use infantry as a bait, make the enemy follow my infantry and then take their tanks down with an 88. There is no way in hell this can be done in another way, an assault gets beaten down instantly. My artillery is blown up, Panzer 2:s doesnt really do anything besides blowing up.

Help? :D

Yes, it's hard, but a playable chapter.

I'm sure that Junkers Ju 52/3m are used for dropping paratroopers. :P Heinkel He 111H's are for heavy bombing only.

Help? :D

Ok, I'll try to help you. :-k Hmm, first of all, it was tested without any mods, so make sure, you're playing it without one activated.

BTW, there is no KV-2. There are only few KV-1's. Remember, PzKpfw II is a scout tank. You're right, it's almost for nothing in 1942. :) But once I played Rostov, my supply convoy in the forest was attacked by a BT-5 (or BT-7?) and T-26, but my two Pz II's destroyed them! \:D/

So, first thing you have to do, if you want to complete this mission, is to capture the railway station and destroy the armoured train. Its mounted gun covers the whole map. Don't use your artillery until you destroy this train! Proceed to the station with AT guns (75mm) in the first line and with infantry (including officers with binoculars) and destroy every heavier tank you'll find. Other targets can be destroyed by your PzKpfw IV Ausf. G's.

Use your air support! If you can't get through the city, bomb-out the artillery positions by He 111's first, or use a "Hit 'n' Run" tactics.

Thanks, hmm, I might have a buggy verision or so because whenever I send paratroopers there is a He111 Bomber dropping the paratroopers.

Also, in the Rostov mission I only have fighters and scout planes. I'll try my best taking out the train station, thanks.

Edit: Im using the AmbientMod, 20mmFlak mod (allows the 20mm flak to be moved without truck), and Randells skin mods.

Oh, I know, where's the problem! You surely mean the first two missions before Rostov, don't you? He 111 can appear there as a transport plane, because those two missions are created as a random missions by the map editor itself, just to allow you to have the unit upgrades available from the beginning (from Rostov). 8)

If you destroy the train and capture the railway station and its neibourhood, you will be able to use the whole scale of an air support, so don't worry. Just proceed slowly and very carefully. If you are in trouble because of the enemy artillery fire, simply retreat for a while, replenish your troops, repair tanks and try attack later.

That shouldn't be a problem, I think.

Aaargh. I finally completed the necessary objectives in the required time and then successfully finished the other objectives but the mission won't end.

How do I move on from here?

Hello Victoria,

I just tried the same map in Operation Blau and it completed OK. The only thing I can think of suggesting to try is to make sure all enemy units have been killed - there could be some lurking outside the base or maybe a disabled tank somewhere. Failing that you can always use the cheat codes force the mission to end.

Hmm, looks a bit strange to me. Really don't know where could be a mistake... :-k

I guess that you mean the mission near Majkop, which you have to finish in 6 minutes. I'll try help you a bit.

So, you have to complete the main objective there (capturing the factory area) and two other objectives to the east (destroying two Soviet assault groups). But that's not all! If you complete these 3 objectives in 6 minutes, you will have to prepare the defensive positions around the factory area to prevent the Soviet engineer trucks to get in the complex.

Then the Soviet forces will attack your positions and there are now two objectives to be completed:
1) protect those 3 vagons (at least one must survive the Soviet raid),
2) destroy all the incoming units. Maybe some of them get stuck, so find them and destroy all the remnants.

That should help. 8)
