Please post your suggestions for random missions in the 3rd part of my mod (Allied Campaign) in this thread.
The chapters are:
- Norway, no random maps
- France, setting: summer France
- Tobruk, setting: Africa
- Tunis, setting: Africa
- Italy, setting: summer France
- Normandy, setting: summer France
- Ardennes, setting: spring France (this might be converted to winter France)
Remember that random maps have to be pretty general so "The Attack on Foy" is not a good suggestion

A couple of ideas spring to mind:
France (1940) - Roadblock. You have to man a specified defensive position for a set timeframe in order to win.
Tobruk - Fuel raid - your mission is to destroy or occupy enemy fuel depots (supply depots) in the enemy's rear.
Tunis - Final Blow - a small unit of encircled Germans refuses to surrender and needs to be "put down"
Ardennes - defensive perimeter-type scenarios

Hello all.
Maybe something like that:
France 1940 - Your squad has been encircled far from the main force. Fight your way to the allied defensive line and resist th attack for (and specified time)
Tobruk - Conduct an aggressive patrol (maybe include Polish Independent Carpathian Brigade which defended the city?)
Italy - a) Secure the beachhead, capture the harbor and reinforce advancing troops in the mountains,
b) Capture a heavily guarded hill (Monte Cassino for example, as a Polish I have a special place for in my soul), watching over main route to Middle and Northern Italy.
Normandy - (paratroopers) Gather your troops and take the village. Capture as much munitions as you can and defend your position until relieved by allied forces.

I read some time ago good book about Gustav Line.
Good field to use there some Free French and Polish units as many other nations.
It was quite hard battle as Germans were easly destroying tanks while allied infantry, even if conquered some hill, was, in majority, push back by German counter attack.
Then maybe conquer some village/hill/point, defend it and coqnuer another hill, one by one with the same counterattacks
Battle for Gustav Line was compared to WWI battlefields and was the hardest and the bloodiest battle fought by allies in west europe.
For France- defend against blitzkrieg- player is attacked from flanks by enemy tanks and cars with rain of fire from air, while in later time, with tanks attacking even from rear, German infantry advance from front.
Fight in completely encirlement and try to break out it.

France 1940 - Run for your lives - Avoid German armoured recon and retreat to the bank of the Channel. Defend your position until rescue forces arrive (e.g. a ship)
Tunisia - Meeting Tigers - Secure the beachhead and capture a nearby town and take care of harbor. Attack deeper into the land and take two supply depots. Search for a group of new German heavy tanks and knock them out.
Normandy - Sur le pont d'Avignon... - Secure two bridges in the area. Capture the enemy's anti-tank and anti-air armament and defend the bridge against German Panzers until relieved by landing ground forces. (kinda classical variation about Pegasus Bridge )
Don't think of me that I'm an extreme nationalist but would it be able to add Polish Campaign 1939?

Something based on the Battle of Arras would be cool, i think. Maybe having to take out numerous 88's, would be fun

That would be cool. With a Objective time limit added, that would be a hell of a mission
