Those are some very interesting links. Especially the one with the Pics.
Such a Chapter/Campaign would be very interesting. I think we could interest a couple of good modders to take a look and see if it could be worth the effort.
I will also ask over on the German Forum if anyone is interested.
Regards

when you are interested in paratroops, there is a six-mission-campaign in Green Devils including a very tough final mission

Don't quite know how I managed to forget Green Devils
The final mission in the Eagles campaign is actually based on Operation Mercury and features a little trick with a JU-52 landing and taking off:

Those units from stalingrad are perfect equipment wise, but uniforms should be grey. I have done some skinning for other games before so I am going to play around with the normals skins today as I do not have stalingrad
Should look something like this:
well anyway, I have to go for now, have a long day ahead of me(Long week really, hosting thanksgiving lol) take care all.

To repaint the infantry skins I imagine many of you have just used simple recoloring using Photoshop no? I have been playing around a bit today with some skins, nothing I was too happy with though...hmm...I will keep at it, maybe try doing something easier like some vehicles first

Good links!
During breake from Fall Weiss mod I started creating something for Italian mod/Greece mod.
I've made one map (with both sides playable- I mean when we choose Greece we must defend and later counterstrike, when we play as Germans- we must use our brain to cross Greeks Metaxas line )
I've made also a little research for Greek units etc. (But form lack of sources I used few times info from Panzer General 2 eqquipment mod )
Any info would be great, however I must finish Fall Weiss mod at first

Hm... I have lost somewehere list of units, but I'll try to find it
But those units what I remember:
FOr vechicles and tanks:
- NC-27 (modernized Ft-18), few were tested, but not bought. It was possible that few were used
- Vickers 7 tons - ~~20 were ordered, but it's possible that none of them arrive to Greece before it's fall.
- Bren Carrier- 50 were given from GB.
- Italian takettes ~~50 were conquered.
there were also some 37mm at gun and 40mm AA gun (maybe bofors?)
ALso Greeks have 155mm Shneider howitzer and 105mm fild gun.
With sprites: For common soldiers I would use french sprites and for officer- british officer (as I found that they were similiar).
Fallschirmjager, if YOu want, write to me on pm mail and I'll send to You axis side of my map. It's playable, but there is no scripts
If YOu want You can do something with it (I'll write story for this map )

One suggestion:after scattering paratroopers,German units came under fire from armed civilians. Some of them haven't reached weapon containers and been executed and slaughtered. So,you should add:
-armed civilians
-weapon container object(with parachute if available)
-new skins for Ju52(parked on aristrip in mission when you must hold off allied counterattack) and Stuka.
-mediteranian houses(hint-use afrika buildings, just repaint them)
Hope i was helpful

Interesting idea, but what to do when we don't have sprites of civilians ?:)
Maybe we will add police
But in my mod, major will be rather invasion on Greece, Crete will be 5th mission in 2nd release
At first I want to release small mod (like Vyborg Operation 1 mission, few new units for Finalnd) with few units and one map for two sides with diffrent scripts
2nd release will be bigger and will consist from 5 missions avaiable to play from two sides of view- Allies and Axis
Maybe even there will be mission about Yugoslavia, as there was made some research in this forum
If everything will be ok we will release Greek mod, but it's going to more complicated, as maps for Fall Weiss mod were fixed by Mr.Frost
And with this- FW mod should be released quite soon- major problem was defeated
Regards!
